2021 Leadership Summit: "New Protocols: Life and Work Together after a Pandemic"
The Leadership Summit is back! This time, we will meet virtually for an hour session 11 a.m.- Noon and a keynote presentation noon-1 p.m. featuring Augsburg President Paul Pribbenow. Attendees can attend both the 11 am and noon portions or only one.
In this address, President Paul Pribbenow will explore how Augsburg University has navigated through the intersection of three pandemics: COVID-19, economic disruption, and racial reckoning. He will focus on lessons learned that offer a framework for moving forward as an institution - lessons that may be relevant for all of us as we plan for a post-pandemic future.

Breakout Seminar: Equity, Blindspots, and Perfectionism: The Why's, How's, and impact on ROTI
~Featuring: Carole Burton
How can you adjust and survive in today's ever-changing business environment? Are you afraid to speak up
for fear of saying the wrong thing? Unsure what is the next right step for you, your team or organizations? We need to step back to figure out what drives us to think in a set pattern. We have an opportunity to allow others to help us figure it out.
This engaging seminar invites you to explore unconscious bias. We discover Leadership Awareness and its impact on Return on Total Investment (ROTI). We ask why shifting into an adaptive mindset helps leaders evolve. We will explore Equity Awareness and define how to actively listen. We will expand ways for you to lead and help your organization thrive during change in the workplace.
In this seminar, we will:
- Understand how Blind spots (Implicit Bias) impact varying workplace situations.
- Define what Equity is and discover why to choose to engage as adaptive thinking leaders is vital.
- Explain how Perfectionism can limit Equity, and how being a vulnerable leader improves the company culture.
