Primary Responsibilities:
Tenant Relations & Harbor Operations

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for harbor tenants, responding to inquiries, coordinating issue resolution, and supporting day-to-day operational needs.
  • Support tenant construction projects, maintenance obligations, lease compliance tracking, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Assist with coordination of harbor projects.
  • Help monitor tenant operations and escalate operational, safety, or compliance concerns as appropriate
 
Stakeholder Engagement & External Representation
  • Represent the Port Authority at industry organizations, working groups, site visits, and stakeholder meetings related to river commerce.
  • Support preparation of materials and talking points for meetings.
  • Assist with planning and participation in tenant meetings, harbor user groups, and outreach events.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with industry partners, agencies, and community stakeholders.
 
Real Estate & Property Management Support
  • Support lease negotiations by preparing background materials and understanding tenant growth plans and operational needs.
  • Assist with property management activities, including tracking lease terms, maintenance obligations, compliance requirements, and tenant reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors on property maintenance, access needs, and operational issues.
 
Project & Administrative Support
  • Provide project coordination support for harbor and real estate initiatives.
  • Assist with budget tracking and contract fulfillment for development projects.
  • Track action items, follow-ups, and stakeholder commitments related to tenant and harbor activities.
  • Assist with data collection and reporting related to tenant activity, property performance, and harbor operations.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, engineering, public administration, urban planning, construction management, or related fields
  • 3 years of experience managing multiple projects and/or property transactions
