Glenn Caruso- University of St. Thomas Head Football Coach

Glenn Caruso was named the 29th head coach in the 104-year history of University of St. Thomas football on Jan. 24, 2008. In his first season as head coach, Coach Caruso led UST to the third-biggest turnaround in NCAA Division III football.   

At age 36, Coach Caruso became the youngest ever recipient of the Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year award when he won it in January 2011.  Since arriving at St. Thomas in 2008, Coach Caruso as initiated the biggest turnaround in the nation with a 30-6 overall record in three seasons.  For 12 consecutive seasons, at least one player has been named to the AFCA Good Works Team, a Division III record.  In 2010, Caruso was also voted the AFCA Regional Coach of the Year as well as MIAC Conference Coach of the Year.
