Deputy Mayor Paul Williams will talk about the state of workforce development in St. Paul, including efforts to diversify the regional workforce, address skills gaps, and support businesses in preparing youth for future careers.
About the Speaker
After earning a bachelors degree in Government and Philosophy from Saint John's University, Williams graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1987 with a Masters in Public Affairs. He served as vice president and senior manager of fund distribution for the United Way of the Saint Paul Area from 1989-1992 before starting as a program officer with the Minneapolis and Saint Paul Foundations.
