Green Line Launch Celebration @ Hamline Station

COME CELEBRATE THE LAUNCH OF THE GREEN LINE LIGHT RAIL!

Green Line service begins on Saturday, June 14th, and we're celebrating with a community kick-off celebration event.

Please join us for this daylong celebration that we're calling 

The Great Midway Get Together.

A full day of festivities, fun and food for all ages is planned.  And best of all, it's totally FREE!   The fun will take place just south of the Hamline station site. As many as 300,000 people are expected to ride the rail the day of the launch. Here's the schedule for the day:

GRANDSTAND- Music from Hamline Pep Band, Choo Choo Bob Shows, Musical Acts presented by Turf Club and much more!

KIDWAY- Como Park Zoo & Conservatory, MN Children's Museum, Twin City Model Railroad Museum and more!  Special appearance and photo opportunity with Sir Topham Hat from Thomas the Train and Friends, Courtesy of the MN Children's Museum.
