2024 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SUMMIT
Featuring Mayor Melvin Carter
How does the City of Saint Paul generate revenue and what is their plan for attracting and retaining businesses? What challenges are unique to Saint Paul and how do they compare to other cities? If you’ve ever wanted to work toward a brighter future for the business community in Saint Paul, this is a conversation for you. We will explore the history of the city budget and plans for business growth as we talk about ways the Midway Chamber and others can work together with the City of Saint Paul. In addition to Mayor Carter, confirmed speakers include Ling Becker, Ramsey County; Jimmy Lloyd, City of Saint Paul- PED; Bill Lindeke, Urban Studies, University of Minnesota. Mayor Carter will speak 2:30-3:15 p.m.
