Yet our world and rate of change is not slowing down anytime soon. People are reevaluating what matters to them when it comes to work\; and top of the list is having a workplace culture that honors and treats them as human beings\, not just a cog in the machine. The good news is that there are things you can do today to future-proof and rehumanize your workplace so you become an irresistible employer.\n\n \n\nSpeaker Bio\n\nRosie serves as CEO and co-founder of Salveo Partners\, LLC\, a consulting and professional development firm focused on equipping organizations to find success while putting people back at the forefront of their business. They focus on leveraging The Fusion (the inextricable interconnectedness of organizational and employee wellbeing) to help transform workplaces and support people in integrating their personal and professional lives. Through this framework\, leaders learn to reflect deeply on their values and strengths while thoroughly considering how to achieve success across multiple bottom lines. During this presentation\, we will introduce the framework for thinking about our lives built on three interconnected dimensions\, offer an opportunity to identify a personal growth opportunity\, and provide strategies for continuing a practice to "see things whole.\n\n\nCollaborative Leadership\n\nLed by Ken Simon\n\nIn this late stage pandemic world\, there is an urgent call to leaders to embrace organizational cultures for remote and in-person workers that foster engagement\, connection\, and collaboration. In this session\, we reimagine leadership as collaborative instead of hierarchical. We begin with an opportunity to understand ourselves as leaders and collaborators. Then\, we will engage in a collaborative process to examine significant models and ideas that drive collaboration\, collaborative systems\, and ultimately collaborative leadership. Participants will then have an opportunity to engage with each other through a collaborative design process and\, finally\, we will debrief the experience and discuss collaborative protocols and processes that participants can apply in their own professional context.\n\n\nMaking Connections through Community Engagement\n\nLed by Jenean Gilmer\n\nKnowing your community is essential for growing and advancing your organization. Augsburg University has worked to cultivate deep and meaningful relationships with neighbors\, entrepreneurs\, small businesses\, nonprofits and community development organizations. Many of those relationships are with the large East African community in Cedar-Riverside\, with people hailing from Somalia\, Ethiopia\, and Eritrea. We'll walk the neighborhood to learn how it has changed over time\, how we remain responsive to ongoing changes\, and talk with people to learn more about their experiences. Cultivating community connections creates cultural and economic wealth and can help build your organization in ways that are sustainable and enduring. X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:
